Senior Relationship Manager – Client Relations & Account Opening/Corporate Coverage



The position will report to the Head of Client Relations & Account Opening/Corporate Coverage

Your responsibilities

The Employee’s duties will notably include, but will not be limited to the performance of the following tasks:


  • Input in the fulfillment of the Client Relations & Account Opening/Corporate Coverage business plan in accordance with the business strategy of the Bank and the Group, legal & regulatory requirements applied in Luxembourg.
  • Accomplishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Priority Projects (KPP).
  • Establishing and maintaining an efficient dialog with customers and business partners in order to identify new clients acquisition opportunities and execution of clients’ transactions.
  • Ensuring smooth onboarding process with corporate clients (relationships/accounts opening/closing).
  • Being the knowledge center of the corporate business lines of the Bank with regards to the regulations, policies concerning KYC/KYT/KYCC/AML-TF/tax compliance.
  • Closely following regulatory developments in the above fields.
  • Ensuring that each corporate client’s relationship is properly aligned with the regulatory and Bank’s requirements.
  • Focusing on building multi-product customer relationship and cross-selling with assigned customers.
  • Coordinating activities with product departments having business relationships with corporate clients.
  • Maintaining client focus – keeping abreast of industry trends and developments, understand the client needs to meet clients’ requirements in the most optimal way.
  • Participating in respective seminars, conferences and forums.
  • Procuring the proper analysis of the transactions, structuring, internal advocating and execution of clients’ transactions.
  • Effective internal communication and coordination with the Senior Management and key stakeholders at other departments of the Bank and the Parent/Sister Bank levels.
  • Maintaining ongoing awareness of the Bank’s internal policies, requirements and constrains.

Your profile


  • University degree in business administration, economics or finance (MBA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience with a leading international and/or Russian bank and/or a top corporate (ideally a combination of experience from the business [Coverage, Credit and/or Product] and Risk Management/Compliance sides), including minimum of 5 years in a similar position.
  • Strong analytic and risk management skills.
  • Relevant product experience and strong product awareness.
  • Excellent track record of client and business wins.
  • Strong understanding of applicable rules and regulations.
  • Team player with pro-business attitude and balanced credit judgment (business vs. risks).
  • PC literacy.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Russian (both mandatory).
