Senior Relationship Manager - Private Banking

The position will report to the Head of Private Banking.

Your responsibilities

                                                                                                 

  • Full support of the Head of Private Banking Department in implementation and development of Investment Advisory service for Private Banking Clients, in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Timely and accurate fulfillment of regular and “ad-hoc” tasks and assignments established by the Head of Private Banking Department in regards to Investment Advisory activity of the Bank.
  • Active solicitation of Private Banking Clients on approved and eligible financial instruments of the Bank under Investment Advisory mandate, in compliance with approved list of financial instruments and cross-border policy of the Bank.
  • Conducting Investment Advisory services in line with existing Product Governance Policy, Internal Methodology and Approved list of financial instruments and which will not contradict the approved investment analytics of GPB Group.
  • Strong cooperation with Investment Advisory department and active promotion of Investment Advisory research aiming ensuring proper coverage of Private Banking clients’ needs.
  • Coordination of Investment Advisory activity with all relevant Departments of GPB Group.
  • Acquisition of new Private Banking Clients, establishment and strengthening relations with Private Banking Clients, in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Fulfillment of Business plan, personal responsibility for interaction and financial results of cooperation between the Bank and Private Banking Clients.
  • Regular meetings/communication with Private Banking Clients, preparation/distribution of meeting notes.
  • Proactive elaboration of business requirements for Private Banking products and improvements in automation level and processes efficiency.
  • Proactive participation in improvement of existing and elaboration of new products and investment ideas, required by Private Banking Clients.
  • Elaboration and improvement of Bank’s tariffs for Investment Advisory services.
  • Permanent study and monitoring of Private Banking, Asset & Wealth Management industry, conducting an analysis of competitors.
  • Participation in Bank’s projects with Private Banking Clients.

 

Your profile                                                                                                                                               

  • University degree in business administration, economics, management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Private Banking and/or Asset Management industry in a position of Investment Advisor or other relevant positions.
  • Strong understanding of Private Banking, Asset Management and Global Markets products.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Strong understanding of applicable rules and regulations, including, but not limited: AML/CTF, MiFID II, MAR, PRIIPs, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with wealthy customers on a pro-active basis.
  • Excellent presentation, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent Bloomberg, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluent in Russian and English (both mandatory), both written and spoken, French or another language is an asset.
